I am pleased to introduce a new video called "Meet Jon Costas."  This is the first in a series that will expand on my background, accomplishments and qualifications.

Conservative Legislators Endorse Costas

Conservative legislators from across the state endorsed Jon Costas today for Indiana Attorney General.

From State Representative Eric Turner (R-Cicero):

“It is important that the citizens of Indiana have a true conservative in the Attorney General’s office working for them. Jon has done Christian relief work across the globe and helped found a crisis pregnancy center in Porter County. Jon Costas has a long history of putting his conservative beliefs into action.”

From State Representative Woody Burton (R-Whiteland):

“Jon Costas is the conservative Republican leader Indiana needs at its next Attorney General. Jon embodies our conservative principles and family values.”

Along with Representatives Turner and Burton, Costas was endorsed by State Senator Greg Walker of Columbus, State Senator Mike Young of Indianapolis, State Representative Bill Davis of Portland, and State Representative Jackie Walorski of Lakeville.

Indiana GOP Mayors Endorse Costas

Republican Mayors across the state endorsed Jon Costas today to be Indiana’s next Attorney General.

Marion Mayor Wayne Seybold had this to say:

“Jon Costas has been a great mayor and it’s important we have state leaders who know how to address the concerns of the people and understand local government. I know Jon will bring the same energy and efficiency to state government that he’s exhibited as Mayor.”

State Leaders Endorse Costas

We just received the endorsement from Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman (R-Bedford), Secretary of State Todd Rokita (R-Munster), State Auditor Tim Berry (R-Ft. Wayne) and State Treasurer Richard Mourdock (R-Evansville).

These endorsements represent support from leaders all across the state.

Here's what Lt. Gov. Skillman had to say:

“Jon Costas is the candidate we support to serve as a partner in state government. The combination of his successful executive experience as Mayor of Valparaiso, his nineteen years of private legal practice, and his track record of proven results are just what we need to keep Indiana moving forward. We enthusiastically endorse Mayor Costas and urge his nomination at the State Convention.”

Also endorsing Costas today are former Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Kyle Hupfer, Indiana Election Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler and Hamilton County Republican Party Chairman Charlie White. All three men had considered running for Attorney General before choosing to endorse Mayor Costas.
